How To Use The Ski Rack In The Ski Locker
To Ski-Out, simply walk out the front door and click your skis on. Look over your right shoulder and take the trail directly to Deer Valley. See First Video
The ski trail to the base lodge is a beginner trail, however if you are inexperienced (not confident on green trails) we recommend driving 1 min to to Silver Lake Lodge or walking there or driving 7 minutes down to the base lodge. You can also avoid the 7 minute drive down the hill to the base lodge by taking the Silver Lake Express chairlift from Silver Lake Lodge down to the base lodge. We always recommend that parents drop their beginner kids off at the base lodge for group lessons.
To Ski Back: It includes a 200 yd walk, which takes under 3 minutes (with kids in tow) to a private Deer Valley trail. You then put your skis on and ski back to the home - See 2nd Video for instructions

2 Coffee Machines & Grinder
Technivorm Moccamaster & Keurig
Technivorm Moccamaster & Keurig
If you love coffee like us you will like our setup. You can buy your favorite whole beans or ground coffee. We recommend whole beans and using the grinder. We will also try our best to have some Keurig cups stocked at our home for your use.
Technivorm Moccamaster Tip: 5 scoops of coffee for 10 cups of coffee. For best cup of coffee grind beans on the MEDIUM setting. Grinds should be the size of salt or course sand. Most store bought ground coffee is too fine for a great cup of coffee in the Technivorm. Watch this video for full instructions on how to brew
Keurig Machine Location:
If it is not on the counter, then it is usually stored in the cabinets. Our Guests & housekeeping will sometimes move it around, but a favorite spot is the top cabinet above the refrigerator or to the right of the refrigerator.
How To Unlock & Lock Front Door
To Unlock: Use Code, Then Press Check Mark
To Lock: Simply Press Any Key
Parking At Our Home
The outdoor parking lot & indoor parking garage do not have assigned parking and are free. You are allowed 2 cars maximum & only one is allowed to park in the indoor parking garage. You do NOT need a parking pass.
We try to keep an ice scraper handy in the ski locker. Please put it back in the locker when you are done.
Gas Fireplace
It's the quickest way to heat the upstairs if it is cold
Fireplace is gas (Please do NOT put logs in it).
TO LIGHT: Push the RED button on the HEAT-GLO controller (located on white wood wall to the right of the fireplace) twice to start it .
TO TURN OFF: Hit the same RED button twice to shut it off.
NOTE: Sometimes you have to repeat hitting the control twice to get it to turn on and off
To Get Cable TV In Great Room - Watch Video on how to use remotes
For the TV in the Great Room, you can either stream or watch Cable TV. Unfortunately with "modern technology" we need a full blown tutorial to switch back and forth between streaming and Cable....
This "professionally" produced video tells you how to EASILY turn on the TV and switch between streaming and cable TV.
Hot Tub Instructions:
Opening & Closing The Hot Tub Cover Watch The video To Learn How To Easily Close It
To Change The Water Temp
Just press the Up & Down arrows on the keypad. Temp goes up to 104 degrees. The only other button you need to push is for the bubbles.
Please make sure to turn jacuzzi down to 101 & put cover back on (or it will get cold & be hard to heat up)
IMPORTANT: We advise taking the cover off 45 minutes before you use the jacuzzi and running the bubbles to let the let chlorine fumes dissipate (If you don't could cause dizziness & nausea).
Home's Wifi Password & Internet
If Wifi is not working correctly the router/modem is located in the Great Room (to the right of the glass desk) under or beside the glass cabinet.
Try pulling the power plug out to restart it. If that does not work please let us know and we will call Xfinity cable.
Change Home Temperature
The Nest Theromosat is downstairs in the hallway. Simply twist it to your desired temperature. We get hot at night and keep it at 64 degrees, but feel free to find the right setting for you and your guests
NOTE: There is no A/C . At 8,500 ft altitude it is rarely needed.
Keeping The Bunk Room Warmer
The bunk room can get cold if the closet door is left open. The ski bums who built our place in the 80s may have forgotten to properly insulate the closet on a fresh powder day..... Our family likes it colder at night, but if you prefer it to be warmer keep the bunk room closet door shut.
We have also provided extra comforters and a space heater in that bunk room for people who prefer it extra toasty. The space heater is in the bunk room closet.
Ski Locker Key & Pool Keys
Please do not store your skis & poles in the home. There is a lockable ski-locker in the outside hallway. The neighborhood is VERY safe and we personally do not use the lock when storing our gear, however nothing is 100%, so if you feel more comfortable locking the ski locker we fully encourage you to use it for added security and peace-of-mind.
Both the Ski Locker Key & Pool Key are located on hooks near the kitchen sink. The Ski Locker Key is Red & Says "Ski Locker" & The Pool Key is Blue and says "Pool Key".
Please make sure to put the keys back after using them.

The Park City Bus Is Free Around Town
The bus is FREE to downtown and other Park City areas.
It is a 4 minute walk to the bus stop from our place (Royal St. & Sterling Dr.) You will see the bus stop on your walk back from the slopes. It is at Sterling and Royal St.
Take the stairs across from the tennis court up to Sterling and take a left on Sterling, then walk 200 feet to the bus stop on Royal. The bus back to our home is the ORANGE BUS (Orange like the fruit)
It usually runs every half hour to downtown. Make Sure To Double Check The Schedule for the last bus hours so you don't get stuck down there at night https://www.parkcity.org
Pack 'n Play & Booster Seat are located in the Bunk Room closet OR Behind The Door In The Bunkroom (Depends where cleaning or last guest left them)
Skee Ball Machine
On the floor on the righthand side of the Skee Ball machine is the yellow power strip that needs to be turned on first.
Then, simply press the Red Start Game button on the right hand side of the machine ( directly below the Skee balls).
TIP: You get more points if you aim at the lit up holes
Ms. Pac Man Machine
Plug machine in OR if machine is plugged in then there is a power switch low down on the side of the machine
Let the program fully load, do NOT hit the test button when it requests while loading
Sit on the side that has the 1 & 2 player button & use joystick to select one of 400 classic games from the on screen menu - Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Frogger, Space Invaders, Centipede, DigDug & More!
Hit player 1 button to select the game
Once the game loads, choose 1 or 2 player
To change games or exit out of the current game press the player 1 button for 3 seconds and follow the on screen menu
When finished unplug it or it will make loud sound effects for several hours and it will burn out the fan if it runs too long
Why Is There A Doorbell Camera?
Workers, packages & snow.... I remotely self-manage our home from California, so being able to ensure workers show up for repairs is priceless. Other than that we check it when we are expecting packages or want to see the latest snowstorm & DREAM that we are there.
We do not monitor it for petty stuff and we promise you won’t see yourself on YouTube if you belt out Bohemian Rhapsody in the entryway :)
Store And Or Deliver Your Luggage for Shipping, Early Check-In Or Late Check-Out
This is a really great service that you can either drop your luggage & ski equipment off at or they can pick it up and deliver it for you. It is perfect for late check-outs and early check-ins. https://www.mobileluggagevalet.com
Shipping Skis, Golf Equipment & Luggage
Fed Ex is the least expensive ways to ship your skis. Do NOT try to use the U.S Postal service unless you ship them to the Mobile Luggage Valet, because the Post Office does not deliver up Deer Valley's mountain to our home.
There is also new service with good reviews that uses Fed Ex & UPS to ship your skis and luggage called Lugless
I would suggest getting quotes from Fed Ex, UPS & Lugless
NOTE: When Shipping Any Item We Recommend Having Them Sent To Mobile Luggage Valet (see info above) Unless They Can GUARANTEE Your Items Will Arrive The Same Day You Arrive Because There Is No One Onsite At Our Home To Receive Them.
Trash Dumpster Location
Two large dumpsters for trash are located inside the parking garage
Find Hair Dryer, Vacuum, Ironing Board, Ice Scraper, Sleds & More
Hair Dryer is located in one of the drawers in the bathroom
Vacuum Cleaner is located downstairs in the washer/Dryer closet
Ironing board & iron are located in the middle bedroom closet OR over the washer & dryer (depends where last guest/cleaning person left them)
Ice Scraper* We have an ice scraper in the ski closet. There is an asterisk because invariably they disappear. Please put it back after you use it.
Boot Warmer: There is a boot warmer in the entryway for ski boots, which we love because there is no better way to start the day with warm and dry ski boots.
TVs - There are 5 TVs in the home. The Great Room has cable tv and the den and 3 bedrooms have smart TVs that give you access to the streaming channels that you subscribe to, like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
Blinds in house are unique: Simply pull up and down from the tab on the bottom of the blinds to open & close
Sleds* - We have left 5 sleds in the ski locker for you to use. Again, there is an asterisk because invariably they disappear or get broken. If you need additional sleds Walmart is about 15 minutes away and sells them for $10.
Home Rules
We didn't want to write a rule book for our guests because we want everyone to feel at home & have a great time. We just ask that you treat our home like it's yours.
4 House Rules That Are Important To Us
Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the house, on the decks, or in the entryway.
Skis & Poles are not allowed in the home. Please use the provided lockable ski locker. This is important to us because we want to keep the home looking nice for all of our guests & they mark up the walls.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed. We love dogs, our HOA doesn't :(
Large parties are not permitted. The HOA monitors for noise violations and are looking for reasons to limit short-term rentals in our community.
